ASUS ESC4000A-E12 Socket SP5 Rack (2U) Silver

Accelerate performance for HPC and AI workloads
Four dual-slot GPU compute in 2U
ESC4000A-E12 is an AMD EPYC™ 9004 single-socket server built for the demands of enterprise AI infrastructure to deliver unprecedented performance with industry-leading GPUs, faster GPU interconnect and higher-bandwidth fabric, and supports up to four dual-slot active or passive GPUs scalable configuration with a choice of NVIDIA NVLink® Bridge or AMD Infinity Fabric™ Link to enable scaling of performance with increased bandwidth — ready to match your AI and HPC workloads.

PCIe 5.0 Ready
Faster storage, graphics and networking capabilities
PCI Express® (PCIe®) 5.0 delivers 32 GT/s bandwidth, which is twice the speed of PCIe 4.0, and offers lower power consumption, better lane scalability and backwards compatibility. ASUS servers are PCIe 5.0 ready, with scalable designs to satisfy the increasing workloads or modern data centers.

Sustainability
Keep your data center green
Data centers can consume huge amounts of electricity, raising environmental concerns. ASUS servers are designed to optimize both total cost of ownership (TCO) and total cost to the environment (TCE), including thermal design, power efficiency and advanced cooling solutions — reducing the impact of our products on the planet.

Comprehensive liquid-cooling solutions
Better data-center power efficiency
As liquid cooling is maturing in the age of supercomputing, ESC4000A-E12 is purpose-built for sustainability. ESC4000A-E12 supports liquid-cooled NVIDIA® A100 PCIe GPU that delivers powerful performance with less energy and provides direct-to-chip (D2C) cooling or immersion-cooling solutions for maximum data-center energy efficiency.

Optimized Thermal Design
Independent CPU and GPU airflow tunnels
Our servers features a streamlined design with dedicated CPU and GPU airflow tunnels for seriously efficient heat dissipation. This advanced design provides better cooling for both the GPU and CPU, enabling heat to be expelled into the surrounding ambient air for greater energy efficiency and overall savings on system power.

Titanium power supplies
Up to 96% efficient for operating cost reduction
ESC4000A-E12 supports 2600 W 80 PLUS® Titanium redundant power supplies to ensure power is supplied to the system equally from all power sources, maximizing efficiency and enabling uninterrupted operation.

Management
Comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions
Advanced ASUS management tools comprise IT assets management, security and reliability to improve the performance, up-time and real-time monitoring of the servers remotely — highly increasing the efficiency of IT infrastructure.

BMC
Remote server management
ASUS ASMB11-iKVM is the latest server-management solution from ASUS, built upon the ASPEED 2600 chipset running on the latest AMI MegaRAC SP-X. The module provides various interfaces to enable out-of-band server management through WebGUI, Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) and Redfish® API.

IT infrastructure-management software
Streamline IT operations via a single dashboard
ASUS Control Center (ACC) is remote IT-management software application designed for monitoring hardware and software IT assets and inventory status, and enabling seamless remote BIOS configurations and updates, efficient IT diagnostics and troubleshooting and enhanced security with hotfix updates — allowing easier server management for any IT infrastructure.

Hardware Root-of-Trust Solution
Detect, recover, boot and protect
ASUS servers integrate PFR FPGA as the platform Root-of-Trust solution for firmware resiliency to prevent from hackers from gaining access to infrastructure. ASUS security solutions are fully compliant with the 2018 National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800 193 specification.
* Platform Firmware Resilience (PFR) module must be specified at time of purchase and is factory-fitted. It is not for sale separately.

Trusted Platform Module 2.0

ASUS servers also include support Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) to secure hardware through integrated cryptographic keys and offer regular firmware update for vulnerabilities.

Omniverse
NVIDIA® solutions for 3D collaboration

Serviceability
Improved IT operational efficiency

Tool-less Cover

ASUS servers feature three easy-access covers that can be opened without tools, enabling IT staff to perform maintenance on specific components without removing the server fully from the rack.

Front-bezel Q-Code

ASUS servers have a visible Q-Code/port-80 LED display LED for simple monitoring of the entire boot process, from power on through loading of the operating system.

Hot-swap design

ASUS servers feature multiple hot-swap components, including fans, power supplies and storage for easy troubleshooting to keep 24/7 seamless operations.
