Foldable pocket Smart card / ID card reader AXAGON CRE-SMPC PocketReader with USB-C 480Mbps interface. It is especially suitable as an ID card reader for use with mobile phones that have an USB-C input. The modern reversible USB-C connector makes the reader easy to use, eliminating the need for the correct orientation of the connector when connecting to a computer or phone.

The card reader supports all common contact Smart card formats, chip cards and other cards, including contact bank payment cards or contact electronic ID cards *. The reader is compatible with most national applications for eID (electronic ID cards).

Compatibility with all common OS such as Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android, allows wide use on desktops and laptops as well as smartphones and tablets.

The smart LED indication lights up shortly after the activity change, then turns off and doesn't bother the user with unnecessary light. The foldable design and compact size make this reader one of the smallest Smart Card readers on the market. The integrated loop allows you to hang it e.g. on keys, so you can always have it with you and it will not interfere.
