QIDI Q2C 3D Printer

The QIDI Q2C is a 3D printer designed as a fast and precise tool for working with a wide range of engineering materials, offering a large build volume of 270 × 270 × 256 mm and a high print speed of up to 600 mm/s with acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s². The design, based on a rigid, all-metal CoreXY frame, ensures operational stability even during intense head movement, while the High Hardness Linear Guide Rail system on the X-axis maintains smooth and accurate movement over the long term. The system is complemented by a new 1.5GT belt with increased tooth density, which reduces vibration and improves the surface quality of prints. Combined with a hotend capable of reaching temperatures up to 370°C, the printer is ready to handle demanding filaments, including carbon and glass fiber composites and high-temperature materials such as PPS-CF.

Stable CoreXY design and precise movement

The use of a full metal frame in the CoreXY layout helps reduce vibrations and maintain high structural rigidity even at high operating speeds. Combined with high-hardness linear guides, X-axis movement remains smooth and repeatable, which directly impacts the dimensional accuracy of models. The drive system has been optimized to reduce vibration artifacts, resulting in smoother and more consistent print surfaces.

Extruder and handling of demanding materials

The dual filament drive system, combined with hardened steel extruder components, ensures stable and reliable material feeding. The design is optimized for use with engineering and abrasive filaments, allowing for the printing of materials such as carbon fiber or glass fiber composites without excessive wear on the mechanism. As a result, the device maintains repeatability even during long and demanding projects.

Process Automation and Ecosystem Support

The printer utilizes a new-generation leveling system in which the nozzle acts as a sensor. This allows for accurate measurement of the build plate surface without offsets or additional probes, which increases the precision of the first layer and reduces the risk of errors. Within the QIDI ecosystem, in conjunction with the QIDI Box (not included), features are also available to automate filament handling, including intelligent detection of certain system operating conditions, such as material feeding issues or filament tangles, which helps reduce the risk of failed prints.

Speed, display, and connectivity

The QIDI Q2C is designed as a high-speed production printer, offering print speeds of up to 600 mm/s and high accelerations of up to 20,000 mm/s², which significantly reduces project turnaround times. The device is equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen that facilitates operation and control of operating parameters. Various connectivity options are also available, including Wi-Fi and Ethernet, allowing for integration into networked environments in workshops and production facilities.

Safety and Operation Control

The safety system relies on continuous temperature monitoring and the use of electronic safeguards that respond when abnormalities are detected. As a result, the printer can automatically cut off power in emergency situations, which enhances safety during long and demanding prints.
