The DDPAI Z50 Pro is a dash cam that allows you to record video simultaneously from the front and rear of the car. The front camera records footage in 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) at 30 fps, while the rear camera records in Full HD (1920 × 1080) at 25 fps, and both cameras support HDR technology. The device offers wide viewing angles of 143° in the front and 124° in the rear, parking monitoring, a 3-axis G-sensor, Wi-Fi 6 at 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.4, support for microSD cards up to 512 GB, and app-based control. The model also supports 4G connectivity, which requires an optional 4G adapter/module, and can work with an optional GPS and CPL filter.

Two Cameras with HDR Support

The DDPAI Z50 Pro’s front camera is equipped with an F1.8 lens with a 143° field of view, allowing it to capture a wide area in front of the car. The rear camera uses an F2.0 lens with a 124° field of view and supplements the recording with a view of the area behind the vehicle. HDR support on both the front and rear cameras helps preserve more detail in areas with significant differences between bright and dark parts of the image, which is important, among other things, when driving in varying lighting conditions.

Parking Monitoring and Supercapacitor

The DDPAI Z50 Pro supports parking monitoring, allowing it to be used to monitor the vehicle even while parked. The built-in 3-axis G-sensor detects G-forces and can help record significant events related to impacts or sudden changes in the vehicle’s movement. The supercapacitor used performs well in automotive devices exposed to large temperature fluctuations, and the dashcam’s stated operating temperature range is from -20°C to 70°C.

Connectivity and User-Friendly Operation

The dashcam supports Wi-Fi 6 on the 2.4 GHz band and Bluetooth 5.4, and the ability to control it via an app makes it easy to use its features. The model also supports 4G connectivity when an optional 4G adapter/module is used; therefore, this feature does not imply the presence of a built-in 4G modem in the dashcam itself. A 3-inch screen is also available for direct operation, and the USB-C port provides a modern and convenient way to connect the power supply.

ADAS, Large Card Capacity, and Optional GPS

The DDPAI Z50 Pro offers ADAS features, including a forward vehicle departure alert and a driver fatigue warning. The device supports microSD cards with capacities up to 512 GB and records footage in MP4 format using H.265 or H.264 encoding. The dashcam’s capabilities can be further expanded with an optional GPS module supporting GPS, BDS, and GLONASS systems, as well as an optional CPL filter that helps reduce light reflections visible in recordings.
