NEEWER 90 cm Softbox

The NEEWER 90 cm Softbox is an octagonal softbox measuring 90 × 46 cm, which provides wide, balanced lighting and evenly illuminates the subject being photographed or filmed. The silver interior coating enhances the light source and helps reduce shadows without altering its color temperature, while the two included diffusers provide additional light diffusion. The Quick Release design speeds up setup—the softbox can be set up and taken down in seconds, making it ideal for both studio use and on-location shoots.

Greater Control Over the Light

The included 88 × 88 cm honeycomb grid allows for more precise control over the direction of the light beam. This makes it easier to limit lateral light scatter and direct the light toward a specific area of the frame, and when shooting portraits, to properly highlight the model’s facial features. This solution provides greater flexibility when setting up lighting for product, portrait, children’s, fashion, and wedding photography, as well as for video recordings, live streams, and interviews.

Effective Light Diffusion and Reflection

The interior of the softbox is coated with a highly reflective silver layer that increases the efficiency of the light source. It helps distribute light evenly and minimize the formation of harsh shadows, while maintaining an authentic color temperature. The set includes two diffusers—an inner one measuring 87 × 87 cm and an outer one measuring 62 × 62 cm—which make it easy to adjust the lighting to suit a specific shot.

Set it up in seconds

The integrated Quick Release system significantly simplifies setting up and taking down the softbox. This is a practical solution, especially if you frequently change your work location or want to minimize the time needed to set up your lighting.

Durable construction designed for frequent use

The softbox features eight flexible ribs that can withstand repeated folding and long-term use without deformation. When folded, the structure lies flat, making it easier to store in the included carrying bag. The softbox is made of Oxford fabric, a nylon alloy, and an aluminum alloy, combining durability with a weight of 1.12 kg.

Bowens Mount and Wide Compatibility

The Bowens mount, made of nylon alloy, features a lightweight and durable design. The softbox is compatible with many NEEWER lights, including the CB60, CB100, CB150, CB60B, RGB CB60, CB200B, MS60B, MS60C, MS150B, S101-300W/400W Pro, Vision 4, and Q4. It can also be used with compatible devices from other brands that use this mount, including SmallRig, Aputure 120d, and Godox SL60W.
