Description: Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas that is produced during the combustion process and, when inhaled by humans, is easily absorbed into the bloodstream. Dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide can permanently damage the body and, in the worst case, can even lead to death. The greatest danger exists in places with poorly functioning ventilation, where the amount of air needed for the combustion process is too low.  Carbon monoxide can be produced in rooms equipped with heating appliances, such as gas heaters, fireplaces, gas, oil and coal boilers, etc. Every year in Poland there are several thousand accidents related to carbon monoxide.  The only effective way to protect against this danger is to use a certified carbon monoxide detector. The FireAngel FA3313, a carbon monoxide detector, is equipped with the latest electrochemical sensor, which was developed in the PACE-Sensor plant in Canada, part of the FireAngel concern. When even a small amount of carbon monoxide is present, the detector will inform users with a clear optical signal and a loud 85 dB audible alarm - already audible at a distance of 1 m. A built-in self-monitoring system will continuously check the detector for correct operation and, if necessary, signal a malfunction. Independently, the user can test the device himself using the large TEST/RESET button, which also allows the alarm to be silenced if necessary. The FA3313 is powered by two replaceable AA batteries, which are included in the kit. If their charge is low, the self-monitoring system will indicate for 30 days that they need to be replaced and, after a 10-year lifespan, that the entire unit needs to be replaced with new ones as well. The FireAngel FA3313 carbon monoxide detector has a 10-year warranty period. The FireAngel FA3313 meets the highest safety requirements, as evidenced by the EN50291-1:2018 and EN50291-2:2019 certificates of compliance.
