Due to the urgency, it was decided to design Polonaise rely on the documentation of the yacht, Arcturus with a sail area of ​​80 m2. During the design we developed an entirely new part of the stern of the hull and completely redesigned interior fittings and adapting to the requirements of a yacht sailing with a one-man crew. Start IV Regatta was the captain. Krzysztof Baranowski and Polonaise very successful, because in the group over fifty participants took 12th place. Polonaise was sailing by experts as the most elegant yacht regatta 1,972 years. Krzysztof Baranowski was not enough participation in the Regatta Loners and decided to hold a voyage around the world after the most difficult route for yachts, it is a zone of forty degrees south latitude - a zone of roaring forties.
