Floor stands and carts hold TVs, monitors and large displays without any drilling into a wall, from simple pedestal stands to mobile trolleys on wheels. They suit offices, classrooms, meeting rooms and living rooms. Our range includes ONKRON, NEOMOUNTS, MULTIBRACKETS and Vogel's.
How to choose a floor stand or display cart
Screen size and VESA pattern. Check both the minimum and the maximum screen size a stand supports. In our range, some models start at 25.4 cm (10") while others begin at 94 cm (37") or 139.7 cm (55"), and upper limits run from 81.3 cm (32") up to 2.92 m (115"). Then match the VESA hole pattern on the back of your display to the bracket.
Weight capacity. Add the weight of the screen to anything you plan to fit on the stand, such as a camera or soundbar, and stay clearly below the stated limit. Capacities in our range include 8 kg, 10 kg, 50 kg, 76 kg and 125 kg, so there are options for light monitors and for heavy commercial displays.
Fixed stand or mobile cart. A fixed floor stand stays where you put it and suits a living room or reception area. A cart on castors lets you move one screen between rooms, which helps in training and meeting spaces. Look for lockable wheels so the cart cannot roll once it is in position.
Stability and build. Most stands in our range with a listed material are made of steel, which gives a stiff frame and a solid base. With tall or large screens the size of the base matters as much as the weight limit, so measure the floor space you have. Height adjustment and cable management in the pole are useful extras for a tidy setup.

Floor stands and carts: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a TV floor stand and a TV cart?
A floor stand is a fixed pedestal or pole with a base that stands in one place. A TV cart, or trolley, has wheels so you can move the screen between rooms. Carts are common in classrooms and meeting rooms, while fixed stands are more usual at home.
Can I use a floor stand for a monitor as well as a TV?
Yes, as long as the monitor has a VESA mounting pattern and falls within the stand's screen size and weight limits. Some stands in our range start at 25.4 cm (10"), so smaller displays are covered. Check the VESA pattern on the back of the screen before ordering.
How do I know if a floor stand will fit my TV?
Check three things: the screen size range, the weight limit and the VESA hole pattern. All three must be compatible with your TV. The VESA pattern is the distance between the four mounting holes on the back, measured in millimetres, and it is usually listed in the TV's specifications.
Is a floor stand better than a wall mount?
A floor stand is better when you cannot or do not want to drill into a wall, for example in rented premises or glass-walled rooms. It can also be moved to another position or room, especially if it is a cart. A wall mount takes up no floor space, so the choice depends on the room layout.
