How to choose a case bracket or stand
Purpose. A support bracket stops a long, heavy graphics card from sagging in its PCIe slot. A vertical mount turns the card to face the glass side panel, and that needs a bracket plus a riser cable. Decide which of the two you are after before comparing anything else.
Case compatibility. Many brackets are made for one case family, such as a specific LIAN LI model, and will not fit others without drilling. Universal supports are more flexible, but check the slot positions and the clearance inside your case first.
Graphics card size. Check the length, thickness and weight of your card. A three-slot card needs a vertical mount with enough depth, and a heavy card needs a support that can be adjusted in height and holds firmly.
Riser cable and PCIe generation. Vertical kits usually include a flexible PCIe riser cable. If your card and motherboard run PCIe 4.0 or newer, look for a riser rated for that generation, otherwise the link may fall back to a slower speed or become unstable.
Material and finish. Aluminium and steel are the usual choices, and both hold a card more firmly than plastic. Match the finish to your case if the bracket will be visible through the side panel.
