AIO liquid coolers

AIO liquid coolers

AIO liquid coolers are sealed, pre-filled water cooling kits with a pump block, radiator and fans, built to keep a desktop processor cool. Our range of over 100 models includes kits from DARKFLASH, LIAN LI, ASUS and PHANTEKS, for builders who want lower temperatures or a tidier look than a tower air cooler gives.

How to choose an AIO liquid cooler

Radiator size. Radiator length decides how much heat the cooler can shift. A 240 mm radiator suits most mainstream processors, while a 360 mm model gives more headroom for high-end chips that run hot under sustained load. Smaller 120 mm and 140 mm units are mainly for small cases.

Socket compatibility. Check that the mounting kit covers your socket, such as AMD AM5 or AM4, or Intel LGA 1700. Newer sockets may need a specific bracket, so read the compatibility list for the exact model before ordering.

Case fit. The radiator must fit your case at the front, top or rear, and the case maker lists which sizes it supports. Allow for the thickness of the radiator plus fans, because tall memory modules or a motherboard heatsink can clash with it when it is mounted at the top.

Noise and pump design. The pump and fans produce most of the sound. Look for fans with PWM speed control so they can slow down at idle, and for a pump whose speed can be adjusted through the motherboard or software.

Extras on the pump head. Many current coolers add addressable RGB lighting, and some have a small screen on the pump block that shows temperatures or images. These make a difference to the look of a build with a glass side panel, but they do not change cooling performance, so weigh them last.

AIO liquid cooler brands we carry

  • LIAN LI: known for aluminium PC cases and the Galahad AIO series, which is designed to match the look of its own cases and fans.
  • ASUS: makes the ROG Ryujin and ROG Strix LC coolers, which often add a display or lighting on the pump head and integrate with ASUS motherboards.
  • CORSAIR: a long-standing name in AIO cooling, with the iCUE software used to control fans, pump and lighting across its products.
  • ARCTIC: best known for the Liquid Freezer line, which adds a small fan over the motherboard voltage regulators.
  • PHANTEKS: a case manufacturer that also builds coolers, with its Glacier One series designed to pair with its own enclosures.
  • THERMALRIGHT: recognised for air coolers with a strong cooling-for-the-money reputation, and the same approach shows in its liquid models.
  • EK WATER BLOCKS: a Slovenian specialist in custom loop components, which also offers AIO kits.

Also in our range: DARKFLASH, TRYX, CHIEFTEC, ASRock and JONSBO.

AIO liquid cooler FAQ

Is an AIO liquid cooler better than an air cooler?

Not always. A large 360 mm AIO usually cools a hot, high-core-count processor better than most air coolers, and it frees space around the socket. A good tower air cooler is simpler, has no pump to fail and is often just as quiet on mid-range chips.

What size AIO do I need?

Match the radiator to your processor and case. A 240 mm or 280 mm radiator handles most mainstream processors, and 360 mm or larger is better for high-end chips under heavy load. Always confirm the size fits your case before buying.

How long does an AIO cooler last?

Many AIO coolers run for several years before the pump wears or the liquid level drops through slow evaporation. Lifespan depends on build quality and use. Most are sealed and need no refilling, so the usual sign of ageing is rising temperatures or pump noise.

Where should I mount the radiator in my case?

The front or top of the case are the most common positions. Ideally the pump sits lower than the highest point of the radiator, so any trapped air collects in the radiator and not in the pump. Check your case manual for the mounting positions it supports.
