Business laptops in this category are 13-inch, 14-inch, 15-inch and 16 to 17-inch notebooks, plus a few 2-in-1 models, made for office work, travel and company fleets. Our range of over 600 models includes Lenovo, Microsoft, HP and ASUS, and most run Windows 11 Pro. They suit employees, IT buyers and small businesses that need machines that are easy to manage and secure.
How to choose a business laptop
Screen size. The 14-inch class is the largest group in our range and is the usual balance between a usable screen and a bag-friendly weight. Choose 13-inch for frequent travel, and 16 to 17-inch if you work with spreadsheets or several windows at a desk.
Processor. Many current models use Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7, while others use AMD Ryzen AI 5, Ryzen AI 7 or Ryzen 5. Core Ultra 5 or Ryzen 5 class chips are enough for office software, video calls and browsers. Step up to a Core Ultra 7 or Ryzen AI 7 if you run heavy multitasking, large files or local AI features.
Storage. A 512 GB drive is the most common size in our range, with 1 TB and 256 GB also available. 512 GB suits most users who keep files in the cloud, while 1 TB makes sense for large project folders, local databases or virtual machines.
Display. Many models have a 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) screen, which gives more vertical space than Full HD for documents and email. Sharper 2.8K and 3840 x 2400 panels are available on some models and help with design work or reading small text, but they use more battery.
Operating system and graphics. Most laptops here ship with Windows 11 Pro, which adds business features such as domain joining and BitLocker drive encryption. Most models rely on integrated graphics, which is fine for office use. A small number have NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics for CAD, rendering or video editing.

Business laptop FAQ
What size business laptop should I buy?
A 14-inch laptop suits most office workers because it balances screen space and portability. Choose 13-inch if you travel often, or 16 to 17-inch if the laptop mostly stays on a desk and you need more room for spreadsheets or multiple windows.
Is Windows 11 Pro better than Home for business?
Windows 11 Pro is the better choice for work. It supports joining a company domain, centralised management and BitLocker encryption, which Windows 11 Home does not offer in the same way. Most business laptops in our range come with Windows 11 Pro already installed.
How much storage does a business laptop need?
512 GB is enough for most business users, and it is the size found most often in our range. Go for 1 TB if you store large files locally, such as video, design projects or databases. 256 GB can work if your documents mainly live in cloud storage.
Do business laptops have dedicated graphics?
Most business laptops use integrated graphics, which handles office software, video calls and multiple displays. Some models in our range add NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, including RTX 5060, 5070 and 5080 cards. These are worth considering for CAD, 3D work or video editing.
