Digital photo frames in our range are standalone screens that show your pictures in rotation, from simple models that read a memory card or USB stick to Wi-Fi frames you fill from a phone app. They suit anyone who wants family photos on a shelf or wall, and they make an easy gift for relatives who do not use social media. Brands include DENVER, BRAUN, KODAK and XORO.
How to choose a digital photo frame
Screen size and resolution. Pick the size by where the frame will sit: a smaller screen is enough for a bedside table, while a larger one works better across a living room. A higher resolution keeps detail in portraits and landscapes, which matters most on bigger screens where low-resolution photos look soft.
Connectivity. Wi-Fi frames can receive photos from a phone app or by email, so relatives in other cities can add pictures without visiting. Frames without Wi-Fi rely on an SD card or USB stick, which is simpler to set up and does not need a home network. Decide which method the person using the frame will actually manage.
Panel type and aspect ratio. Most phone and camera photos are 4:3 or 3:2, so a frame with a similar ratio shows them with fewer black bars. IPS panels generally keep colours consistent when you view the screen from the side, which helps in a room where people walk past at an angle.
Storage and file support. Check how much internal memory the frame has and whether it accepts memory cards, because this sets how many photos you can keep on it. Most frames handle JPEG files. If you want video clips or a clock and calendar mode, confirm the frame lists them.
Design and mounting. Frames come in wood-effect, plastic and metal finishes, and some can be wall-mounted or turned to portrait orientation. Choose a finish that suits the room, since the frame stays on display all day.

Digital photo frame FAQ
What size digital photo frame should I buy?
Choose a screen that fits the viewing distance. Smaller frames suit desks and shelves viewed from close by, while larger screens suit a wall or a room you look across. Resolution matters as much as size, since a large frame with a low-resolution panel shows less detail.
Does a digital photo frame need Wi-Fi?
No, a digital photo frame does not need Wi-Fi. Many models work with an SD card or USB stick, and you copy photos across from a computer. Wi-Fi is useful if you want to send pictures from a phone app or let relatives add photos remotely.
How do I put photos on a digital photo frame?
The method depends on the model. You either copy photos onto a memory card or USB stick and plug it in, or send them over Wi-Fi through the manufacturer's app or an email address linked to the frame. The instructions supplied with the frame explain the exact steps.
Can a digital photo frame play videos?
Some can, but not all. Many frames show only still images, while others also play short video clips in common formats. Check the product specification for video support before buying if this matters to you.
