How long does an egg cooker take to boil eggs?
Most egg cookers take roughly six to fifteen minutes, depending on how firm you want the egg. Soft-boiled eggs finish at the short end and hard-boiled at the long end. The number of eggs and the starting temperature of the eggs and water also change the time slightly.
Can an egg cooker poach eggs or make omelettes?
Some models can, but not all of them. Look for a poaching tray or omelette insert in the product description, as plain boiling models do not include one. Models with these inserts usually cook the eggs by steam rather than in direct water.
Do I need to pierce the eggs before cooking?

How do I descale an egg cooker?
