Can I use an electric grill indoors?

How do I clean a non-stick grill plate?
Let the plate cool slightly, then wipe it with a damp cloth or soft sponge and mild washing-up liquid. Avoid metal utensils and scouring pads, as they scratch the coating and shorten the life of the plate. If the plates are removable and marked as dishwasher safe, you can wash them in the dishwasher.
