Portable speakers in our range include mono and stereo Bluetooth models, party speakers and a few 2.1 systems, made for the garden, the beach, the kitchen or a trip away. Brands include JBL, Sony, Anker, MANTA and TRACER. Many models carry a splash-proof or waterproof rating.
How to choose a portable speaker
Water and dust protection. The IP code tells you how much abuse a speaker can take. IPX4 survives splashes, IPX7 survives short immersion, and IP67 adds full dust protection to that. Our range includes IPX4, IPX5, IPX7, IP66, IP67 and IP68 models, so you can pick the level that matches a poolside or hiking use.
Mono, stereo or party speaker. A mono speaker plays one channel from a single unit and is the simplest option for a desk or a picnic. Stereo models use two drivers for left and right separation, and 2.1 systems add a dedicated bass driver. Party speakers are larger and built for volume, and many have lights or microphone inputs.
Connectivity. Most of our portable speakers connect wirelessly over Bluetooth. Models listed as wired and wireless also accept a cable, which helps if you want to connect a TV, laptop or older music player without any pairing. Some speakers can be linked with a second unit for wider sound, so check this if you plan to expand later.
Battery life and size. Larger speakers usually hold bigger batteries and play louder, but they are heavier to carry. Look at the stated playing time and remember it is normally measured at moderate volume. If you listen at high volume, expect it to run down sooner.

Portable speaker FAQ
What is the difference between IP67 and IPX7?
IPX7 only rates water resistance, covering short immersion in water. IP67 includes that and also certifies the speaker as fully dust-tight. For sandy beaches or dusty trails, IP67 gives more protection.
Should I buy a mono or a stereo portable speaker?
A mono speaker is enough if you want background music or a speaker that is easy to carry. A stereo model spreads the sound across two drivers, which gives a wider and more detailed sound when you sit in front of it. Party speakers suit larger groups and open spaces.
Can I connect a portable speaker to a TV?
Yes, if the speaker has a wired input or the TV supports Bluetooth audio output. Models listed as wired and wireless are the easiest choice, since a cable avoids pairing problems and sound delay. Check the ports on both devices before buying.
How long does a portable speaker battery last?
It depends on the model, the battery size and the volume you use. Manufacturers usually quote playing time at moderate volume, so loud listening will shorten it. Larger speakers generally last longer than small ones, and the stated hours on each product page are the best guide.
