How to choose a camera or network device mount
Compatibility with your exact model. Most mounts are made for one product family, not for every camera or access point. Check the model code against the compatibility list: our range includes mounts listed for LevelOne FCS series cameras and for TP-Link EAP650 access points.
Mount or junction box. A mount holds the device at the right angle on a wall or ceiling, while a junction box sits behind it and hides the cable connection. Some cameras need both, so check whether the box is sold separately before you order.
Indoor or outdoor placement. Many of the mounts in our range are intended for indoor use, and some are marked as universal. A mount for outdoor use should be made of a material that resists rain and sun, so do not fit an indoor-only bracket outside.
Fixing surface and cabling. Brick, concrete and plasterboard each need different plugs and screws. If the network cable runs through the wall, choose a mount with a cable opening in the back plate. If it runs along the surface, look for a cable channel.
Finish. Most mounts in our range are white, which matches typical ceilings and access points, though silver and titanium finishes also appear. Colour matters mostly where the device will be clearly visible.

Can I use any mount with any security camera?
No, a mount should match the camera it is meant for. Screw spacing, the shape of the base and the cable route differ between models and manufacturers. Check the compatibility list or model code before you buy.
What is a junction box for?
A junction box covers and protects the cable connection behind a camera or access point. It gives the device a flat base to sit on and keeps the wiring tidy. Some mounts need one, while others have enough space built in.
Can I use an indoor mount outside?
It is not advisable. Indoor mounts are not designed to withstand rain, temperature changes or direct sunlight, and they may corrode or crack. Choose a mount listed for outdoor or universal placement for any exterior installation.
Do access points need a special mount?
Most access points ship with a basic mounting kit, but a dedicated mount helps when the standard one does not suit your surface. A ceiling or wall bracket made for your model, such as one for the TP-Link EAP650, will fit the device without adaptation. Generic brackets may not line up with the fixing points.
