Desk monitor mounts in our range are monitor arms, desk clamps and stands that hold one or two screens above the desk, for home offices, workstations and shared desks. Brands include MY WALL, DIGITUS, ART, MACLEAN and NEOMOUNTS.

How to choose a desk monitor mount
VESA compatibility. Check the VESA hole pattern on the back of your monitor before anything else. Many mounts in our range start at 75 x 75 mm and go up to 100 x 100 mm, which covers most standard office monitors. Larger patterns such as 200 x 200 mm or 400 x 400 mm are found on mounts built for bigger screens.
Screen size and weight. A mount must support both the diagonal and the weight of the screen. Many models in our range take screens from around 13 to 32 inches, and a number of them cap out at 27 inches. Weight limits are often 8 or 9 kg per arm, with some heavy-duty mounts rated for 30 or 40 kg. Weigh your monitor without its stand and leave some margin.
Number of screens. Single-screen arms are the simplest option and leave the most desk space. Dual-monitor mounts hold two screens on one clamp, which saves space but means both monitors share the same weight limit and the same fixing point.
Mounting method and desk. Most desk mounts attach with a clamp on the desk edge or a bolt through a hole in the desktop. Measure the desk thickness and check for a rear panel or shelf that would block the clamp. Glass, very thin or hollow desktops may need a reinforcing plate. If you cannot fix anything to the desk, look at the pole, floor or wall versions.
Adjustability. Arms with gas springs or tension joints let you change height, tilt and swivel with one hand. Fixed stands are cheaper and steadier but only allow limited tilt. If you switch between sitting and standing, or share a desk, choose a full-motion arm.

Desk monitor mounts: frequently asked questions
What does VESA mean on a monitor mount?
VESA is the standard spacing of the four screw holes on the back of a monitor or TV, measured in millimetres. A 100 x 100 mm pattern means the holes sit 100 mm apart both horizontally and vertically. The monitor and the mount need to support the same pattern.
How do I know if a monitor arm will hold my screen?
Compare your monitor's weight without its stand and its screen size with the limits listed for the mount. The weight must be below the maximum capacity, and the VESA pattern must match. Some arms with a gas spring also need the screen to fall within a minimum weight so the arm can balance.
Can I mount two monitors on one arm?
Yes, but only on mounts made for two displays. Dual-monitor arms are available in our range, and each screen must meet the size and VESA requirements. Check whether the weight limit applies to each screen or to the whole arm.
Will a desk monitor mount fit any desk?
Not always. A clamp mount needs a desk edge of suitable thickness with free space beneath it, and a bolt-through mount needs a hole or drilling. Glass and very thin desktops often need a reinforcement plate, so check the clamp range in the specifications.
