Floor stands and trolleys for TVs and large monitors: freestanding pedestals, mobile carts on castors and stands with shelves for a soundbar or set-top box. They suit homes, offices, classrooms and meeting rooms. Our range has over 150 models, including MY WALL, ERGOTRON, ONKRON and GEMBIRD.
How to choose a TV floor stand or trolley
Screen size and weight. Check the screen diagonal range and the maximum load given for the stand, and keep your display's weight comfortably below that limit. A large-format screen for a meeting room needs a heavier frame and a wider base than a typical living room TV.
VESA pattern. Match the hole spacing on the back of your screen (for example 200x200 or 400x400 mm) to the VESA sizes the stand supports. Do this before anything else, because a stand that does not cover your pattern will need adapter plates or will not fit at all.
Fixed stand or trolley. A fixed floor stand suits a lounge or reception area where the screen stays in one place. A trolley with lockable castors lets you move one display between rooms, which is common in classrooms, training rooms and clinics.
Height, tilt and stability. Height adjustment lets you set the screen at eye level for seated or standing viewers, and tilt helps cut reflections from windows. Pay attention to the base: a wide, flat or weighted foot matters more than appearance, especially around children or pets. If you plan to add a camera, soundbar or media box, look for a model with a shelf and cable routing.

Frequently asked questions about TV floor stands and trolleys
What is the difference between a TV floor stand and a TV trolley?
A floor stand stands in one position on a fixed base, while a trolley has wheels so you can move the screen. Trolleys usually have lockable castors and are used where one display is shared between rooms. For a permanent living room setup, a fixed stand is normally steadier.
How do I know if a floor stand fits my TV?
Compare three things: the VESA hole pattern on the back of your TV, its weight and its screen size. All three must fall within the stand's stated limits. The VESA pattern and weight are usually in the TV's manual or specification sheet.
Can I use a floor stand for a monitor as well as a TV?
Yes, if the monitor has a VESA mounting pattern that the stand supports and its weight is within the limit. Many floor stands are sold for both TVs and large monitors. Monitors without VESA holes need an adapter or a different type of stand.
Is a floor stand better than a wall mount?
Neither is better in every case. A floor stand needs no drilling and can be moved, which helps in rented homes and shared rooms. A wall mount saves floor space and keeps the screen fixed, so it suits a permanent installation on a solid wall.
