Phone model. A case has to match the exact model, because camera cut-outs, button positions and dimensions differ between generations. Most cases in our range are made for Samsung or Apple phones, with a few for Motorola, Xiaomi and Lenovo. Check the maximum screen size listed too: sizes from 6.1" to 6.9" are common here, and they help you confirm you are looking at the right size class.
Case type. A cover is the simplest option and by far the most common type in our range. It wraps the back and sides and keeps the phone slim. A wallet case or folio adds a flap that protects the screen and often holds a card or two, while a flip case suits people who want the display covered whenever the phone is in a pocket. Holsters and sleeve cases are for carrying the phone separately rather than using it with the case on.
Level of protection. Descriptions range from scratch resistant and bump resistant to shock resistant, dust resistant and drop proof. A scratch-resistant cover deals with daily wear, but if you often drop your phone on hard floors or work outdoors, look for a shock-resistant or drop-proof case with thicker corners.
Material. Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is the most frequent material in our range: flexible, absorbs knocks and stays slim. Silicone feels softer and grips well in the hand. Hard plastic and polycarbonate give a firmer shell, leather and microfibre add a more finished look and feel, and some cases are made from recycled plastic for buyers who care about environmental impact.
