Screen protectors for smartphones, from a range of over 60 models, for anyone who wants to guard a display against scratches and knocks. Tempered glass and thin film are the usual types, and the brands here include SBOX, DEVIA, TELLUR and Woodcessories. Protectors are cut for specific handsets, so start with your exact phone model.
How to choose a screen protector
Model fit. Match the protector to the exact model name, not just the screen size. Variants such as standard, Plus, Pro and Max often have different dimensions, camera cut-outs and speaker positions, so a protector for one will not sit correctly on another.
Glass or film. Tempered glass is thicker, feels close to the original screen and absorbs more of an impact, which is why it is the common choice for flat displays. Thin film is lighter and more flexible, copes better with curved edges and resists scratches, but it gives less protection against a hard knock.
Finish. A clear finish keeps colours and sharpness as the manufacturer intended. A matte finish cuts glare and fingerprints but can make the picture look slightly softer, while privacy versions narrow the viewing angle so people beside you cannot read the screen.
Edge coverage and cases. Many glass protectors stop just short of the screen edge so that a case can sit around the display without lifting the glass. Full-coverage designs reach the edge and look neater on a bare phone, but check that your case does not press against them.
Fitting. Look for a pack with cleaning wipes, a dust-removal sticker and, ideally, an alignment frame. These make it much easier to apply the protector without trapped dust or bubbles.

Screen protector FAQ
Is tempered glass better than film?
For most flat-screen phones, tempered glass gives better protection against impacts and feels closer to the original display. Film is thinner and bends more easily, so it can suit strongly curved screens. If your main worry is drops, choose glass.
Will a screen protector work with a phone case?
Yes, in most cases, as long as the protector is the right size for your phone. Some protectors are cut slightly smaller than the screen so that a case can sit around the edge. A full-coverage protector can lift at the corners if a tight case presses on it, so check the fit before buying.
How do I apply a screen protector without bubbles?
Clean the screen thoroughly, remove dust with the sticker supplied, then line the protector up before the adhesive touches the glass. Apply it in a dust-free room and press from the centre outwards. Small bubbles usually disappear after a day, but larger ones can be pushed to the edge with a soft cloth.
Do I still need a screen protector if my phone has strong glass?
A protector is still worthwhile, because hardened display glass resists scratches but can still crack or chip in a drop. A cheap protector takes the damage in its place and can be replaced. It also keeps the original screen cleaner and in better condition if you plan to resell the phone.
