Smartphones

Smartphones in our range include standard bar-style handsets, foldable phones, rugged phones, feature phones and renewed devices, for buyers who want anything from a basic phone for calls to a current flagship. Leading brands are Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi and Motorola. Cases, screen protectors and chargers are stocked alongside the phones.

How to choose a smartphone

Operating system. iPhones from Apple run iOS, while Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, Google and Honor phones run Android. Pick the one that matches the apps, smartwatch and computer you already use, since switching later means relearning habits and moving data.

Storage. Our range includes phones with 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. 128 GB is enough if you stream music and keep photos in the cloud, but 256 GB or more is safer if you shoot a lot of video. Many phones have no memory card slot, so choose the capacity at the time of purchase.

RAM. 8 GB and 12 GB are the values listed most often in our range, with 6 GB and 16 GB also available. 6 GB to 8 GB handles everyday apps and browsing comfortably. Choose 12 GB or more if you play demanding games or keep many apps open at once.

Camera. Rear cameras in our range are mostly 50 MP, with 200 MP on some models. A higher megapixel count does not guarantee better photos: sensor size, lens quality and the phone's image processing matter just as much, so look at sample shots and reviews.

Form factor. Most phones are the usual flat bar shape. Foldable phones open into a larger screen or fold down to pocket size, rugged phones add a tougher casing and usually a larger battery for building sites and outdoor work, and feature phones focus on calls, texts and long battery life.

Smartphone FAQ

Is 128 GB enough for a smartphone?

128 GB is enough for most people who use cloud storage and streaming. If you record a lot of 4K video, install many large games or keep offline media, 256 GB gives more room. Most phones cannot be expanded later, so it is worth choosing with some margin.

Is a foldable phone worth buying?

A foldable phone is worth it if you want a tablet-sized screen or a smaller pocketable phone. Flip models fold down to a compact square, while book-style folds open to a larger display. They cost more than a standard phone of similar power, and the hinge and inner screen need more careful handling.

What is a rugged phone?

A rugged phone is built to survive dust, water and drops better than a normal handset. Most have a reinforced frame, a thick casing and a large battery. They suit workshops, building sites and outdoor use, though they are usually heavier and thicker than regular phones.

What is a renewed smartphone?

A renewed smartphone is a used phone that has been tested and restored before resale. It usually costs less than a new one of the same model. Check the condition grade and battery details on the product page before buying.
