Watch chargers are charging cradles and cables for smartwatches, for anyone who needs a spare at the office, a replacement for a lost one or a lead for travel. Our range of six models includes chargers from HUAWEI, Baseus, STELIO and Lenovo, with TRACER also available.
How to choose a watch charger
Compatibility with your watch. Smartwatch chargers are usually made for a specific brand, and often for a specific model family, because the contacts or magnetic cradle must match the back of the watch. Check the exact name of your watch, not just the brand, before ordering.
Charging method. Most watch chargers use a magnetic cradle that snaps onto the back of the watch, while some use pins that touch contacts on the case. A magnetic cradle is quicker to attach and easier to use one-handed, but it only works with watches built for it.
Connector and power source. Many watch chargers end in USB-A or USB-C and need a separate plug adapter or a free port on a laptop or power bank. Choose the connector that matches what you already own, so you do not have to buy extra adapters.
Cable length and shape. A short cable suits a laptop or power bank in a bag, while a longer one reaches a bedside socket without pulling the watch off its cradle. If you charge on a desk or bedside table, a dock with a stand keeps the screen visible as a clock.
Original or third-party. A charger from the watch manufacturer is the safest match for the cradle fit and charging speed. Third-party chargers can work well for a second charger at work or in the car, as long as they list your watch model as supported.
Watch charger brands we carry
- HUAWEI: makes its own smartwatches and fitness bands, so its chargers are designed around the cradle and contacts of those watches.
- Baseus: known for charging accessories such as power banks, cables and wall chargers, which makes it a natural choice if you want the rest of your charging kit from one brand.
- Lenovo: best known for laptops and PCs, and it also sells smart accessories and wearables.
Also in our range: STELIO and TRACER.
Watch chargers: frequently asked questions
Can I use any charger with my smartwatch?
No, a smartwatch needs a charger made for its model or family. The cradle shape, magnets and contacts differ between watches, and a charger that does not fit may not charge at all. Always check the supported watch list in the product description.
Do I need a separate power adapter for a watch charger?
Usually yes, unless your charger has its own plug. Most watch chargers have a USB end that connects to a wall adapter, a laptop, a power bank or a car socket. A standard low-power USB adapter is normally enough for a watch.
Is a magnetic watch charger better than a wired one?
Magnetic chargers are easier to use because the watch snaps into position without aligning pins by hand. Their one limitation is that the watch must be designed for that type of charger. The best option is whichever type your watch was built to use.
How do I know if my watch charger is faulty?
Try a different USB adapter or port first, then clean the charger contacts and the back of the watch with a dry cloth. If the watch still does not charge and a second known good charger works, the first charger is probably at fault. A visibly bent cable or loose cradle is another sign it needs replacing.
