Business and office projectors for meeting rooms, classrooms and training rooms, from basic XGA models to 4K units. The range covers lamp, laser and LED projectors using DLP and 3LCD technology. Leading brands include Acer, Optoma, BenQ, Epson and ViewSonic.
How to choose a business projector
Brightness and room lighting. Brightness is measured in lumens, and it matters more than resolution in a room with windows or ceiling lights. As a general guide, rooms that stay lit need roughly 3,000 lumens or more, while a dimmed room can manage with less.
Resolution and aspect ratio. Our range runs from SVGA and XGA through WXGA and 1080p to WUXGA and UHD 4K, and 1080p is the most common option. Choose a 16:10 projector (WXGA or WUXGA) if you mostly show laptop slides, 16:9 if you play video, and 4:3 only if you have older content or an existing screen of that shape.
Light source. Lamp projectors are the most common type in our range and cost less to buy, but the lamp wears out and needs replacing. Laser and LED models are also available. They have no lamp to change and reach full brightness quickly, which suits rooms where the projector is used every day.
Projection technology. DLP is the most common technology here, and DLP projectors are usually compact. 3LCD models, a technology developed by Epson, are also stocked. Many buyers choose them because they avoid the rainbow effect some people notice on DLP projectors.
Connections and sound. Most projectors in our range have one or two HDMI ports, and some have three or four. Count the devices you connect, such as a laptop and a conferencing box. Built-in speakers range from about 2 W to 16 W, which is enough for a small room, but a larger room needs external audio.

Business projector FAQ
How many lumens do I need for an office projector?
For a meeting room with the lights on, aim for roughly 3,000 lumens or more. In a dark or dimmed room, a lower figure is usually enough. Larger screens and bigger rooms need more brightness.
Is a laser projector better than a lamp projector?
Laser projectors do not need lamp replacements and reach full brightness quickly, so they suit daily use. Lamp projectors usually cost less to buy but need a new lamp after a set number of hours. The choice depends on how often you use the projector and how long you plan to keep it.
Which resolution is best for presentations?
1080p suits mixed use, covering slides, documents and video. WXGA or WUXGA fits laptops with 16:10 screens, and XGA is enough for simple slides on a small screen. 4K is worth considering for detailed images or video in large rooms.
Should I choose DLP or 3LCD?
Both work well in offices, so the choice comes down to the room and your eyes. DLP projectors are often smaller, while 3LCD projectors avoid the rainbow effect that some viewers notice with DLP. If you are unsure, compare brightness, resolution and connections first.
