Digital signage displays are large commercial screens for showing menus, adverts, wayfinding and information in shops, restaurants, offices and reception areas. Our range has over 70 models, mostly 4K Ultra HD, from Samsung, LG, Philips and iiyama, with a few from Dahua and Sony.
How to choose a digital signage display
Screen size. Pick the size by how far away people will stand. Our range runs from 109.2 cm (43") to 190.5 cm (75"), with 139.7 cm (55") the most common size in the specifications we hold. A 43" screen suits a counter or short corridor, while 65" and 75" are better for large rooms and showroom walls.
Resolution. Most of the screens in our range are 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K Ultra HD), which keeps small text and detailed product images sharp at close range. Full HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels is enough for simple menus and notices viewed from a distance. A few models use unusual formats, such as 1920 x 540 pixels, which are meant for stretched bar-style layouts.
Built-in platform. Many models have an operating system installed, so you can schedule content without a separate media player. Our range includes webOS, Tizen and several Android versions. Choose the one that works with the content management software you already use or plan to use.
Panel and contrast. VA panels offer deeper blacks, while IPS panels keep colours more consistent from wide viewing angles, which matters in a shop aisle. ADS panels are also used in our range. Typical contrast ratios run from 1000:1 to 5000:1, with 1200:1 appearing most often. Also check the stated brightness, operating hours and whether portrait mounting is supported.

What is the difference between a digital signage display and a TV?
A signage display is designed for commercial use, usually with a rating for long daily operating hours, commercial mounting options and content management features. A domestic TV is built for a few hours of viewing a day. Check the manufacturer's specification for the hours and orientation each model supports.
Do I need a separate media player for digital signage?
Not always. Many displays in our range have webOS, Tizen or Android built in, which can play scheduled content on their own. A separate media player is only needed if your software does not run on the built-in platform or you want more control over playback.
What size of digital signage display should I buy?
Choose the size by viewing distance and the amount of text on screen. A 43" to 55" display is usually enough for counters, shop windows and small rooms. For larger spaces or viewers further away, 65" and 75" models are easier to read.
Is 4K worth it for digital signage?
It is worth it when viewers stand close, or when content contains fine text, photography or detailed graphics. Most of the screens in our range are 4K Ultra HD. Full HD is still adequate for simple menus and announcements read from several metres away.
