Portable monitors are slim, lightweight external screens that connect to a laptop, phone, games console or mini PC over USB-C or HDMI. Our range has over 50 models from ZEUSLAP, ANMITE, UPERFECT and ARZOPA, plus a couple from MINIX. They suit remote workers, frequent travellers and anyone who wants a second screen without a fixed desk setup.
How to choose a portable monitor
Screen size and resolution. Most portable monitors measure roughly 13 to 17 inches. A 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) screen is a sensible balance between readable text and space in a laptop bag. A 4K panel gives sharper text and more detail for photo work, but it asks more of the connected device and uses more battery power.
Connection and power. USB-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode carries picture and power over one cable, but only if the USB-C port on your laptop or phone supports video output. If it does not, you will need a mini HDMI or HDMI cable plus a separate USB power cable. Check the ports on your device before you order.
Panel type and brightness. IPS panels are the usual choice because colours and contrast stay consistent when you view the screen from an angle, which matters on a monitor that sits on a table or a lap. If you work near a window or outdoors, look for a higher brightness rating. For photo or design work, check the stated colour coverage.
Touch, stand and extras. A touchscreen is useful if you plan to use the monitor with a tablet, a Windows laptop or a phone. Many models come with a folding cover that doubles as a stand, which saves carrying a separate one. Built-in speakers and a headphone socket are worth checking if the monitor will be your only sound output.

Portable monitor FAQ
Can I connect a portable monitor to any laptop?
Most laptops can drive a portable monitor, but the connection method differs. Laptops with a USB-C port that supports video output need only one cable. Others can use the HDMI port, with the monitor powered separately over USB.
Does a portable monitor need its own power supply?
Most portable monitors draw power over USB-C from the connected device, so no separate adapter is required. This does shorten the laptop's battery life. If you want to avoid that, you can power the monitor from a wall charger or power bank through its second USB-C port, where one is fitted.
Can I use a portable monitor with a phone or games console?
Yes, in many cases. A phone needs a USB-C port that supports video output, and consoles generally connect over HDMI, either directly or through a dock. Check the specifications of your device first, because not every phone can send video over USB-C.
What size of portable monitor should I buy?
A 15 to 16 inch screen suits most people who work with a laptop of similar size. Choose 13 to 14 inches if weight and bag space matter most. A 17-inch model gives more working room, but it is bulkier to carry.
