OLED monitors use self-lit pixels that switch off completely, giving true black and strong contrast for gaming, films and colour-sensitive work at home or in the office. Our range covers 26.5-inch to 32-inch screens in Quad HD and 4K from Samsung, ASUS, MSI and Dell.
How to choose an OLED monitor
Screen size and resolution. Our range includes 26.5-inch, 27-inch and 32-inch screens. A 27-inch Quad HD panel looks sharp at normal desk distance, while 32 inches suits 4K, where text and fine detail stay crisp on a larger surface. Quad HD, Wide Quad HD and 4K Ultra HD options are all listed.
Refresh rate and response time. Maximum refresh rates in our range run from 240 Hz up to 540 Hz, with 240 Hz appearing most often. Response times of 0.02 to 0.03 ms are listed, which is typical of OLED and keeps fast motion free of smearing. A very high refresh rate only pays off if your graphics card can deliver matching frame rates, so 240 Hz is already plenty for most players.
Connections. HDMI 2.1 is listed on many of our OLED monitors, and it matters if you want 4K at high refresh rates from a games console or a recent graphics card. Check that the ports match your computer, for example DisplayPort or USB-C for a laptop.
Burn-in and daily use. OLED panels can retain a static image after very long periods, so a screen that shows the same spreadsheet and taskbar for eight hours a day needs more thought than one used for games and video. Pixel-shifting and panel refresh routines are common features that reduce the risk, and varied content makes it smaller still.
Brightness and room lighting. OLED monitors reach their best brightness on small bright areas rather than on a full white screen. A glossy finish gives richer blacks but shows reflections, so a room with a window behind you may suit a matte finish better. Around 1 billion colours is the figure listed for most models in our range, which helps with photo and video editing.
OLED monitor brands we carry
- Samsung: develops QD-OLED panel technology through Samsung Display and supplies most of the models in our range, mainly under its Odyssey gaming line.
- ASUS: known for its ROG gaming monitors, which include OLED versions aimed at high refresh rates and fast response.
- MSI: makes gaming monitors alongside its graphics cards and laptops, so its screens are tuned for PC gamers.
- Dell: known for UltraSharp monitors for office and creative work and for its Alienware gaming displays.
OLED monitor FAQ
What is an OLED monitor?
An OLED monitor is a display where each pixel produces its own light instead of relying on a backlight. Pixels can switch off entirely, which gives true black, high contrast and very quick response times. This is why OLED is popular for gaming, films and photo or video editing.
Are OLED monitors good for gaming?
Yes, OLED monitors suit gaming well because of their response times of around 0.03 ms and refresh rates that start at 240 Hz in our range. Motion looks clear and dark scenes keep their detail. For consoles and 4K gaming at high refresh rates, look for HDMI 2.1.
Do OLED monitors suffer from burn-in?
OLED monitors can show burn-in if a static image stays on screen for very long periods at high brightness. Most models include pixel shifting and refresh cycles to limit this. Mixed use such as games, video and browsing carries a lower risk than showing the same fixed layout all day.
Which size OLED monitor should I buy?
A 27-inch Quad HD monitor is a sensible choice for a standard desk and gives a sharp picture at close range. Choose 32 inches with 4K if you want more screen space, a more cinematic view or detailed editing work. Our range also includes 26.5-inch models for smaller desks.
