How to choose a wall mount
Screen size and weight. Check the maximum screen size and the weight limit against your display, not just one of them. Weight capacities in our range run from 35 kg to 125 kg, and supported screens go from around 10 inches up to 86 inches. Leave some margin below the stated limit, especially if you plan to tilt or swivel the screen often.
VESA pattern. The VESA pattern is the spacing of the four mounting holes on the back of your screen, and the bracket must support it. Smaller monitors often use 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm, while large TVs commonly need 400 x 400 mm or 600 x 400 mm. Some mounts in our range reach 800 x 600 mm, so check your screen's manual before ordering.
Movement. A fixed mount keeps the screen closest to the wall and is the simplest option. A tilting mount lets you angle the screen down, which helps when it hangs above eye level. A full-motion arm swivels and extends, which suits corners, shared rooms or a screen you want to pull towards a desk.
Wall type and fixings. Brick, concrete and solid masonry usually take heavy loads with the supplied plugs and screws. Plasterboard and hollow walls need fixings into studs or purpose-made heavy-duty anchors. Steel is the housing material you will see most often in this category, and it is what gives the higher weight ratings their strength.
Mount type. Most items here are wall brackets, but a few are floor or desk stands. Check the listed mounting type if you want something that does not need drilling into the wall.

Wall mount FAQ
How do I know if a wall mount fits my TV?
It fits if it supports your TV's VESA pattern, screen size and weight. Measure the distance between the mounting holes on the back of the TV, in millimetres, horizontally and vertically. Then compare these with the mount's VESA range and weight limit.
What does VESA mean on a wall mount?
VESA is a standard for the hole spacing on the back of monitors and TVs, written as width x height in millimetres, for example 200 x 200 mm. A mount lists the smallest and largest pattern it accepts. Your screen's pattern must fall within that range.
Should I choose a fixed, tilting or full-motion mount?
Choose fixed if the screen sits at eye level and you want it flat to the wall. Choose tilting if it hangs higher, because angling it down reduces glare and improves the view. Full-motion is the better choice if you need to turn or extend the screen, though it holds the screen further from the wall.
Can I mount a TV on a plasterboard wall?
Yes, but not with ordinary plugs alone. Fix the bracket into the timber or metal studs behind the plasterboard, or use heavy-duty fixings rated for the weight. For large and heavy screens, a solid masonry wall is usually the safer surface.
