Gaming mouse pads in our range include standard cloth mats, extended desk mats and designs with printed artwork, for players who want steady mouse tracking and a non-slip base. Over 250 models are listed from brands such as Razer, SteelSeries, ASUS, Genesis and Endorfy, alongside console-focused and budget makers.
How to choose a gaming mouse pad
Size. Match the mat to your sensitivity and desk. Players who use low sensitivity and sweep the whole forearm need a large mat, while those who flick only the wrist can manage with a small or medium one. Extended desk mats also hold the keyboard, but measure your desk depth first.
Surface type. Cloth surfaces are the most common in our range, and many are made from fabric, microfibre or polyester. Softer, more textured weaves generally give more control and stopping power, while smoother weaves let the mouse glide faster. Some models use polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which gives a different, smoother feel from woven cloth.
Base and edges. Almost every mat in our range has a rubber base, which stops it sliding on laminate, glass or varnished wood. Stitched edges are worth looking for, because they stop the border from fraying and lifting after months of use.
Thickness. Thin mats give a flat, firm feel that suits a low-profile mouse. Thicker mats add cushioning under the wrist, but they raise your hand slightly, so try to match the thickness to your desk height and wrist rest.
Design. Black is the most common colour in our range, with blue, red, purple and multicolour options as well. Plain monochrome surfaces are the most frequent, and printed images and patterns are available if you want artwork. The design does not change tracking, so choose it last.

Gaming mouse pad FAQ
What size gaming mouse pad should I buy?
Choose a medium or large mat if you are unsure. It gives enough room for most mouse movements without taking over the desk. Extended mats suit players who also want the keyboard on the same surface, as long as the desk is deep and wide enough.
Is a cloth or hard gaming mouse pad better?
Neither is better for everyone. Cloth mats are softer, quieter and usually give more control, while smoother, harder surfaces tend to let the mouse glide faster. Your grip, sensitivity and the game you play decide which feels right.
Do I need a mouse pad with a rubber base?
Yes, a rubber base is strongly recommended. It grips the desk so the mat does not shift during fast movements, which would throw off your aim. Most gaming mouse pads in our range already have one.
How do I clean a gaming mouse pad?
Most cloth mats can be hand washed in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, then left to air dry flat. Avoid hot water, tumble dryers and harsh detergents, as they can damage the rubber base and the surface. Check the manufacturer's care instructions first, especially for mats with RGB lighting.
