UPS accessories are the add-ons that extend, connect and manage an uninterruptible power supply, for home offices, server cabinets and larger installations. Typical items include extra battery modules, network management cards, rack kits and power distribution units. Our range of over 50 products comes mainly from APC, Eaton, ABB and ONLINE USV-Systeme.
How to choose UPS accessories
Compatibility with your UPS. Most accessories are made for a specific UPS family, not for UPS units in general. Check the exact model name and series of your UPS against the accessory's compatibility list before ordering, because a battery pack or card that fits one series often will not fit another from the same brand.
What you want to add. An external battery module extends runtime during a power cut. A network management card lets you monitor the UPS remotely and shut servers down safely. A rack kit or power distribution unit helps you mount and connect equipment neatly. Decide which of these problems you actually have, then buy for that.
Form factor and installation. Rack-mount accessories are sized in rack units (U) and need a suitable cabinet depth, while tower accessories sit beside the UPS and need floor space. Check the weight too, as battery modules are heavy and may need shelf or rail support.
Battery capacity and voltage. An extra battery pack must match the DC voltage of your UPS, and the supported number of extra packs is set by the UPS itself. Connecting more batteries also lengthens recharge time, so allow for that if the UPS protects critical equipment.
Original or alternative parts. Parts from the UPS manufacturer are the safest match for warranty and support. Alternative brands can suit older or simpler units, as long as the stated compatibility and specifications are the same.
UPS accessory brands we carry

UPS accessories FAQ
What are UPS accessories?
UPS accessories are optional parts that add capacity, control or mounting options to an uninterruptible power supply. Common examples are external battery packs, replacement battery cartridges, network management cards, rack-mount kits and power distribution units. They are normally made for particular UPS models.
Can I add extra batteries to any UPS?
No, only UPS models designed for external battery packs can be extended. The UPS needs a battery connector and must support the pack's voltage. Check the manual or the manufacturer's compatibility list for the number of packs allowed.
What does a UPS network management card do?
A network management card gives the UPS its own network connection so you can monitor it and receive alerts remotely. It can also signal connected servers to shut down cleanly when the battery runs low. It is mostly used with servers and network equipment, not with a single desktop PC.
How often should UPS batteries be replaced?
Sealed lead-acid UPS batteries typically last around three to five years, depending on temperature, load and how often the UPS runs on battery. Warm rooms shorten their life. Replace them when the UPS reports a battery fault or when runtime has clearly dropped.
