Description

Facilitate higher refresh rates and 8K 60Hz video on UHBR10-enabled DisplayPort devices

Connect an 8K/4K UHD DisplayPort monitor to a host computer or MST hub, using this VESA-Certified DisplayPort 2.1 DP40 Cable. This cable facilitates high bandwidth video and multi-channel audio and is ideal for 8K workstations, high performance GPUs, and dedicated AV applications including media production and content creation.

Seamless Compatibility

For seamless operation between DisplayPort-enabled devices, the DisplayPort 2.1 Cable is VESA Certified for guaranteed DP 2.1 and backward compatibility (DP 2.0/1.4/1.2). It supports G-Sync and FreeSync, enhancing Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) performance for optimal picture quality between high-capacity GPUs and supported displays.

Durable Design

This DisplayPort cable features a flexible TPE outer jacket that is tested to withstand 600 bending cycles at -/+60 degrees, and routes easily around corners and desk edges. Robust strain reliefs enable convenient positioning of the cable, and latching nickel-plated DP connectors attach securely to prevent accidental disconnection. The connectors are rated to operate beyond 10,000 insertions.

Supported DisplayPort 2.1 Features:

This DP40 DisplayPort cable supports the following DP 2.1 features:

• Resolutions up to 8K 60Hz w/DSC, using a compatible DP source and display
• UHBR10 supports high refresh rates including 4K 120Hz and 1440p 240Hz
• High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 2.2 for a secure connection between source and display
• High Dynamic Range 10 (HDR10) for higher contrast ratio and vibrant picture quality
• Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2a for maximum resolution output
• Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for daisy-chaining multiple monitors
• 32 Uncompressed Digital Audio Channels
• Backward compatible with previous DP versions

This DP 2.1 Cable is constructed with braided aluminum mylar shielding to minimize EMI for clear, consistent audio/video output and long-term reliable performance.
