Description
Freewell Genius Rig Mount for iPhone 17 Pro Max
The Freewell Genius Rig for iPhone 17 Pro Max is a professional camera rig designed for mobile content creators who want to expand the capabilities of their smartphone. The model features the SnapClamp quick-mount system, which allows you to attach your phone without tools, a magnetic slot for Freewell filters, and a 17 mm thread for mounting compatible lenses. The design offers 11 1/4" mounting threads, 4 cold shoes for attaching additional accessories, and modular TriGenius and MonoGenius grips with a Bluetooth remote control. Thanks to its lightweight aluminum construction, 360° rotating mounts, and versatility as a tripod, monopod, or selfie stick, the Genius Rig is ideal for vlogging, live streaming, recording content for YouTube and TikTok, and professional mobile productions.
Quick setup and extensive expansion options
The SnapClamp mechanism allows for instant and secure attachment of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, so setting up your rig takes just a moment. The sturdy construction, made of high-quality aluminum alloy and silicone components, ensures durability and a comfortable grip while filming. The cage is equipped with 11 1/4" mounting threads and 4 cold shoes, allowing you to simultaneously mount a microphone, LED light, viewfinder, or other accessories. Additionally, the magnetic slot for Freewell filters and the 17 mm thread allow you to use compatible filters and lenses, such as macro, telephoto, or anamorphic lenses, making it easy to adapt the setup to specific types of shoots.
Modular mounts for greater shooting flexibility
The kit comes with two versatile mounts that can be used depending on your shooting style. The TriGenius serves as both an ergonomic grip and a compact tripod, and its 360° rotating joint makes it easy to change the frame without having to reattach your phone. MonoGenius can function as a mount, a monopod, or an extendable selfie stick up to 25 cm long, making it ideal for both recording on the go and taking group photos. The set includes a Bluetooth remote control powered by a replaceable CR1632 battery, which allows you to start and stop recording remotely from a distance of up to 10 meters, increasing comfort whether you’re working alone or in a studio setting.
Lightweight design and well-thought-out dimensions
Despite its extensive functionality, the Freewell Genius Rig remains comfortable for everyday use and easy to transport. The cage itself weighs 133 g, while the TriGenius mount weighs 239 g and the MonoGenius weighs 201 g, allowing you to choose the configuration that best suits your current needs. The width of the entire kit with the mounts attached is 321.3 mm, the height of the mounts is 136.3 mm, and the width of the cage itself is 183 mm. This keeps the system compact while offering stability and ease of use when recording footage in any conditions.
