Straps in this category are replacement watch bands for smartwatches, mainly Apple Watch, in a range of materials and fastenings. They suit anyone who wants a fresh look, a sturdier band for training or a spare for daily wear. Apple supplies most of the range, with FIXED and MOBILIS also represented.
How to choose a watch strap
Case size. Watch bands are matched to the case size of the watch, not to the model name. Check the millimetre size of your watch (for Apple Watch, for example 41 mm or 45 mm) and compare it with the size stated on the strap listing. Bands made for one size group often fit neighbouring sizes, but the product description should say so.
Material. Silicone and similar elastomers handle sweat, rain and showers well, so they suit training and everyday wear. Woven nylon is light and breathable, leather looks smarter but dislikes water, and metal link or mesh bands suit office wear. Think about where the watch spends most of its day.
Fastening and fit. Pin buckles, magnetic closures, hook-and-loop and stretch loops all hold differently. A loop with no clasp is quick to put on but depends on getting the size right, while a buckle or magnetic band can be adjusted by small steps. Measure your wrist before choosing a strap that comes in fixed sizes.
Original or third-party. A strap made by the watch manufacturer is designed around the same connectors and colour finishes as the watch. Accessory brands can offer different styles and materials, so confirm that the strap lists your watch generation and case size before buying.

Frequently asked questions about watch straps
How do I know which strap fits my watch?
Match the strap to the case size of your watch in millimetres. This number is usually printed on the back of the case or shown in the watch settings. Then check that the strap listing names your watch family or generation.
Which strap material is best for exercise?
Silicone or a similar elastomer is usually the most practical for exercise. It wipes clean, copes with sweat and water, and does not absorb odours the way leather or fabric can. Woven nylon is a lighter, breathable alternative if you prefer a softer feel.
Can I use a strap from a different brand on my watch?
Yes, as long as the strap is made for your watch's case size and connector type. Many accessory brands produce bands for popular smartwatches. Read the compatibility details on the listing, because a wrong size will not sit flush against the case.
How do I measure my wrist for a watch strap?
Wrap a soft tape measure or a strip of paper around your wrist where the watch sits, then note the length. Compare this with the size chart for the strap. If you are between two sizes, an adjustable buckle or magnetic band is easier to fit than a fixed loop.
