Laptop batteries are replacement power packs for portable computers and similar mobile equipment. Our small range holds three models from Brother, Getac and Newland, which suit businesses that run mobile printers, rugged computers or handheld scanning devices. Each pack is built for particular hardware, so the device model matters more than the brand name.
How to choose a laptop battery
Compatibility. Match the battery to the exact model name and, where possible, the part number printed on your current pack or in the device manual. Batteries for rugged and mobile business devices are usually made for a narrow set of models, so a pack that looks similar can still be the wrong one.
Original or third-party. A battery from the device maker is the safest way to keep the correct fit, charging behaviour and safety protections. All three brands in our range are device manufacturers, which makes it easier to find a pack that matches the equipment you already own.
Capacity and runtime. Capacity is given in watt-hours (Wh) or milliamp-hours (mAh), and a higher figure generally means longer use between charges. For a replacement, the aim is normally to match the original rating. Choose a larger option only if the manufacturer lists one for your device.
Age and condition of the old pack. Lithium-ion batteries lose capacity with charge cycles and with time, even in storage. If your device now needs charging several times a day or shuts down under load, a new battery is usually cheaper than replacing the whole device.
Fitting and working pattern. Some devices have a user-removable pack that you can swap in seconds, while others need the casing opened. If staff work long shifts in a warehouse, in the field or on a vehicle, a spare battery that can be changed quickly keeps the device in use.

Laptop batteries FAQ
How do I know which laptop battery fits my device?
Look up the exact model name and the battery part number, which is usually printed on the pack itself or listed in the manual. Compare these with the product details before ordering. If the numbers do not match, the battery may not fit or charge correctly.
Is an original battery better than a cheaper alternative?
An original battery from the device manufacturer is the most dependable way to get the right fit and built-in safety protections. Cheaper alternatives vary widely in quality and capacity. For rugged or business equipment that has to run through a full shift, the original pack is usually the safer choice.
How long does a laptop battery last?
Most lithium-ion laptop batteries keep useful capacity for a few hundred to around a thousand charge cycles, depending on the cell quality and how the device is used. Heat, deep discharges and long periods fully charged all shorten their life. When runtime drops noticeably, replacement is the practical fix.
Can I use a battery from a different brand in my device?
Generally no, unless the manufacturer lists the battery as compatible with your model. Packs differ in shape, connectors, voltage and the electronics that communicate with the device. Using the wrong one can cause poor charging or damage, so choose a battery made for your device.
