How to choose a monitor or TV mount
Mounting type. Start with where the screen will go. Wall and desk mounts make up most of our range, with smaller selections of floor stands, ceiling mounts and pole mounts. A desk mount clamps to the worktop and keeps the wall untouched, while a ceiling or floor mount suits shops, reception areas and meeting rooms where wall fixing is not practical.
Screen size and weight. Every mount has a maximum screen size and a maximum load, and both must cover your display. Check the weight of the screen without its stand, since that is what the mount carries. Also compare the VESA hole pattern on the back of the screen (for example 100 x 100 mm or 400 x 400 mm) with the pattern the mount supports.
Type of movement. A fixed mount holds the screen flat and close to the wall, which looks tidy and suits a screen that is never moved. A tilt mount helps when the screen sits high up and glare is a problem. Full-motion arms and sit-stand mounts let you swivel, extend and adjust height, which matters for shared desks and for people who work at a monitor all day.

What does VESA mean on a monitor or TV mount?
VESA is the standard for the pattern of four screw holes on the back of a screen. The pattern is given in millimetres, such as 75 x 75 or 200 x 200. A mount fits your screen only if it supports that exact pattern and the weight of the screen.
Should I choose a wall mount or a desk mount?
Choose a desk mount if you want to adjust the screen position often or avoid drilling into the wall. Choose a wall mount for a TV or for a screen that stays in one place and should free up the desk or furniture below. Desk mounts need a sturdy worktop edge to clamp to, and wall mounts need a wall that can carry the load.
Can I mount a TV on a ceiling or a floor stand?
