Projector mounts for ceilings, walls and floors, for anyone fitting a projector in a classroom, meeting room, home cinema or conference space. Our range of over 20 models includes brands such as VIVOLINK, Sony, JMGO, Panasonic, StarTech and BenQ, with ceiling mounts the most common type.
How to choose a projector mount
Mounting type. Ceiling mounts make up most of our range, followed by wall mounts and a floor-standing option. A ceiling mount suits a permanent installation because it keeps the projector and its cables out of the way. A wall mount makes sense in rooms with low or awkward ceilings, while a floor option suits a projector that has to be moved between rooms.
Weight and fit. Compare the mount's maximum load with the weight of your projector, and leave some margin. Check that the mounting plate or arms match the fixing holes on the underside of the projector. Universal mounts have adjustable arms, while some mounts are made for specific projector models.
Height and adjustment. Measure the distance from the ceiling to where the projector needs to sit. A telescopic or extendable pole lets you lower the projector to the correct height in rooms with high ceilings. Tilt, swivel and roll adjustment help you square the image to the screen without relying heavily on keystone correction, which can soften the picture.
Cable routing and finish. Look for a mount with a hollow pole or channel so that power and HDMI cables can be hidden. Colour matters more here than on most accessories, because the mount is visible. Our range includes white, black and metallic finishes, so you can match a white ceiling or a darker room.

Projector mount FAQ
What types of projector mount are there?
The main types are ceiling, wall and floor mounts. Ceiling mounts are the most common and suit fixed installations, wall mounts save ceiling space, and floor stands allow a projector to be moved. Some ceiling mounts come with an extension pole to adjust the drop height.
How do I know if a projector mount will fit my projector?
Check the maximum load of the mount and the hole pattern on the underside of your projector. Universal mounts have adjustable arms that fit many projectors, but the projector's weight must stay below the stated limit. If you own a Sony, Epson or BenQ projector, a mount made for that series removes most of the guesswork.
Can I fit a ceiling projector mount to a plasterboard ceiling?
Not on plasterboard alone, because it cannot carry the weight of a projector safely. The mount must be fixed into a joist, a concrete slab or another solid structure, using the fixings suited to that surface. If you are unsure what is above your ceiling, ask a qualified installer.
How far from the screen should a projector be mounted?
It depends on the projector's throw ratio, which is listed in its manual or specifications. A standard projector needs a greater distance to fill a given screen than a short-throw model. Work out the position first, then choose a mount with enough height and tilt adjustment to reach it.
