Touchscreen monitors in our range are displays you operate by touch, suited to shop counters, self-service kiosks, reception desks, hospitality and workshop control stations. Most models are 15 to 24 inches, and over 30 are available. Brands include iiyama, Elo, AG Neovo and ProDVX.
How to choose a touchscreen monitor
Screen size. Match the diagonal to how close the user stands and how much needs to be on screen. In our range, 15 inch, 15.6 inch and 17 inch models are the most common choice for tills and counters, while 19 inch, 21.5 inch and 23.8 inch screens suit order systems, dashboards and information points.
Touch technology. Projected capacitive screens respond to a light fingertip tap and support multi-touch gestures such as pinch and swipe, much like a tablet. Resistive and infrared types can work with gloves or a stylus, which helps in kitchens, workshops and warehouses. Check which technology a model uses before ordering.
Resolution and panel type. Full HD (1920 x 1080) is the most common resolution here and gives sharp text and menus. Older formats such as 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768 appear on smaller screens and are fine for simple till software. One 4K Ultra HD model is available for detailed work. IPS panels, which are the most common type in our range, keep colours consistent from the side, while TN and VA panels are also listed.
Viewing angle and placement. A touchscreen is often used from above or at an angle, so wide viewing angles matter. Many models offer 178° horizontally and vertically. If the screen will be wall-mounted, built into a stand or fitted into a cabinet, check for VESA mounting holes and whether the bezel is flat for easy cleaning.
Running time and power. Screens that stay on all day in shops or control rooms benefit from low standby consumption and a design intended for long operating hours. Standby figures in our range are mostly between 0.5 W and 1.5 W.

Touchscreen monitor FAQ
What is a touchscreen monitor used for?
A touchscreen monitor lets people operate software by tapping the screen instead of using a mouse. It is used for tills, ordering kiosks, check-in points, machine control and information displays. It suits any task where fast, simple input matters more than precise cursor work.
Does a touchscreen monitor work with any computer?
Most touchscreen monitors work with a standard PC or mini PC. They need a video cable such as HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA, plus a USB connection that carries the touch signal. Windows supports touch natively on most models, but check operating system support for other systems.
Is an IPS panel better for a touchscreen?
An IPS panel is usually the better choice because colours and brightness stay consistent when the screen is viewed from the side or from above. This matters when several people look at the same display. TN panels can be adequate for a single user facing the screen directly.
What screen size should I choose?
A 15 to 17 inch screen is enough for a till or small counter, where the user is within arm's reach. Choose 21.5 inches or larger when you need to show more information at once, such as order lists, floor plans or dashboards. Larger screens also need more desk or wall space.
