How to choose mounting accessories
Weight capacity. Check the maximum weight against the real weight of your screen, including any soundbar or webcam you attach. Our range runs from light-duty items rated for around 5 to 9 kg up to heavy-duty ones rated for 40 kg and 160 kg, so the difference between models is large.
VESA compatibility. Most monitors and TVs have four threaded holes on the back arranged in a standard VESA pattern, such as 75x75 or 100x100 mm. The accessory must support the same pattern as your screen, and a screen without these holes will usually need an adapter plate.
Mounting type. Decide first whether the screen will sit on a desk clamp, a wall bracket or an existing stand, as accessories are made for specific setups. Check how thick your desk or wall is, and what kind of wall it is, before you order.
Material and build. Steel is the most common housing material in our range and handles weight and long-term load better than plastic. Plastic parts are acceptable for light fittings, but they are a poor choice for anything carrying a large screen.
Colour and finish. Black is the most common colour in our range, and white is available for light-coloured rooms. This matters mainly where the mount stays visible, for instance on a desk or wall.

VESA is a standard for the spacing of the four mounting holes on the back of a monitor or TV. A mount marked with the same pattern as your screen, for example 100x100 mm, will bolt on directly. If the patterns do not match, you need an adapter plate or a different mount.
Is a steel mounting accessory better than a plastic one?
Steel is the better choice for anything that carries significant weight, because it resists bending and wear. Plastic can be fine for light fittings or covers that carry little load. For a heavy monitor or TV, look for a steel mount with a capacity well above your screen's weight.
