PC case displays

PC case displays are small screens that mount in or on a computer case to show system information such as temperatures, clock speeds, fan speeds or custom images. They suit builders who want live monitoring or a personalised look without adding a separate monitor. Our range includes models from DARKFLASH, PHANTEKS and STREACOM.

How to choose a PC case display

Mounting position. Displays are designed to fit in different places, such as a fan slot, a drive bay, a side panel or a front panel. Decide where you want the screen to sit and check that the product page describes a matching fitting.

Case clearance and compatibility. Measure the free space behind the mounting point, including cables, radiators and the glass panel. A display that suits one case layout may not fit another, even when both are standard ATX builds.

Connection and power. Most internal displays connect to a motherboard USB header or a USB port, and some also need a power connector from the power supply. Check that your motherboard has a spare header of the right type before ordering.

Software and monitoring features. A case display usually relies on companion software to show CPU and GPU data, so confirm which operating systems are supported. If you use Linux, or prefer not to run extra background software, check this first.

Screen size and sharpness. A larger screen is easier to read from a desk, but a small one looks neater in a minimalist build. Text such as temperatures stays legible on most small panels, while animations and photos look better at higher resolutions.

PC case display brands we carry

  • DARKFLASH: a brand known for PC cases, fans and addressable RGB accessories, so its displays are designed to match the lighting-focused builds it also supplies.
  • PHANTEKS: a PC case and cooling specialist that has built its name on airflow-focused cases and carefully engineered mounting systems, which makes it a natural source of display accessories.
  • STREACOM: a Hong Kong company known for fanless, passively cooled cases and compact home theatre PC chassis, with a focus on quiet, minimalist systems.

PC case display FAQ

What is a PC case display used for?

A PC case display shows information about your computer on a small screen built into the case. Typical uses include watching CPU and GPU temperatures, checking fan speeds and load, or showing a clock, image or animation. Many people fit one as much for appearance as for monitoring.

Do I need a special case to fit one?

Not always, but the case must offer a suitable mounting point. Some displays fit into a standard fan slot or drive bay, while others are designed for a particular case model. Check the fitting described on the product page against your case before buying.

How does a PC case display connect to the computer?

Most connect to a USB header on the motherboard or to a USB port, and some also need a separate power cable. The exact connector varies by model. Look at the specifications and compare them with the free headers on your motherboard.

Can a PC case display show CPU and GPU temperatures?

Yes, many can, but they generally depend on companion software to read the sensor data. The software decides which readings appear and how they are laid out. Check which operating systems and monitoring options the manufacturer supports before you choose.
