How to choose a PC or mini PC mount
Mounting position. Decide first where the computer will sit. A mount behind the monitor keeps cables short and the desk clear, an under-desk bracket suits setups where the monitor is on an arm, and a wall mount works when neither the desk nor the monitor can take the extra weight.
Fit for your device. Check the width, depth and height of your PC against the mount. Look at where the ports and vents are before you buy.
VESA pattern and weight. If the mount attaches to the back of a monitor or TV, the hole spacing must match. The common patterns are 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm, though some displays differ. Add the weight of the computer to the weight of the screen and make sure the combined load is within what the monitor stand or arm is rated to carry.
Cooling and cable access. A mini PC needs airflow, so avoid mounts that cover the vents or press the case against a wall. Leave enough room to reach the power button, USB ports and video outputs without unmounting the device.
