The Freewell Glow Mist 1/4 filter is designed to work with the Brandon Li x Freewell VND/CPL Basic and Pro kits. Its purpose is to gently soften bright areas of the image and create a distinctive glow around light sources, giving photos and videos a more cinematic look.

1/4 Glow Mist Effect

The 1/4 strength provides a visible yet natural diffusion of strong lights. The filter creates a subtle highlight bloom effect that softens contrast in bright areas and gives your shots a softer, more atmospheric feel. This solution works well when photographing and filming portraits, night scenes, city lights, and shots with decorative lighting.

Magnetic Mount and Twist Lock

The Freewell Glow Mist 1/4 uses a magnetic mounting system that allows the filter to be quickly attached to a compatible base ring. This design makes it easy to switch accessories while working and lets you efficiently adapt your setup to current conditions. When combined with the VND/CPL system, the filter can also be rotated and locked in place, ensuring a stable mount while taking photos and recording video.

Lightweight and Practical Design

The filter has a diameter of approximately 95.5 mm, a thickness of 3.8 mm, and weighs about 27.8 g, so it does not significantly increase the weight of your photography kit. Its compact dimensions make it easy to store and transport along with the other components of the Brandon Li x Freewell system. The included case helps protect the filter when not in use, and the cleaning cloth allows for convenient removal of dirt from its surface.
