The InLine® USB 2.0 slot bracket offers an easy way to provide two external USB ports via the internal USB header of a motherboard. The two USB Type A sockets are firmly mounted on a metal slot bracket and are connected internally via a round connection cable with a 10-pin IDC socket. The cable length is approx. 0.35 m, allowing for flexible cable routing in the PC case. This solution is particularly suitable for desktop PCs, industrial enclosures or custom PC configurations where additional USB ports are required. Installation is tool-free and driver-free – the slot bracket is simply inserted into a free expansion slot on the case and connected to the USB header on the motherboard.
