The InLine® AmpUSB is a powerful USB DAC with integrated tube headphone amplifier designed for professional audio applications and demanding users. With support for high-resolution formats such as PCM up to 384kHz/32bit and DSD128 (DoP and native), the device offers outstanding sound quality and is ideal for use in the studio, in laboratory environments or as a high-end audio solution at the workplace.
The asynchronous transfer mode means that the audio signal is processed with particular stability and precision - a clear advantage over simple USB sound cards. The integrated DAC chip from Cirrus Logic (CS4392) ensures low-loss signal conversion with a signal-to-noise ratio of approx. 110 dB. The output power is up to 210 mW at 16 ohms, which also enables the operation of high-quality headphones with a high impedance of up to 600 ohms.
The analog signal amplification is provided by a genuine 12AU7 tube (ECC82), which gives the sound a natural warmth. Thanks to several output options - including 3.5mm and 6.3mm jack, optical S/PDIF and line-out - the AmpUSB can be integrated in a variety of ways. Power is supplied externally via a 12V power supply unit. LEDs indicate the current playback mode (PCM or DSD).
The aluminum housing ensures stability and a high-quality look. Common Windows and macOS systems as well as Android devices are supported via OTG adapter. The AmpUSB provides a flexible and audiophile interface that is ideal for professional use.
