Wood cases are mid tower PC cases that use wooden or wood-effect panels, usually on the front, for builders who want a computer that looks at home in a living room or study. Our range covers over 15 models from ASUS, CORSAIR, APNX and Antec, among others.
How to choose a wood case
Graphics card length. Check the maximum card length before anything else. Models in our range accept cards of about 31.5 cm, while others take 44 cm or 45 cm, which matters for the longest triple-fan cards.
CPU cooler height. A tall air cooler can stop the side panel closing. The cases in our range list a maximum cooler height of 16 cm, 18.5 cm or 19 cm, so compare it with the cooler you plan to fit.
Fans and radiators. Some models support 200 mm front fans, which move a lot of air at low speed, while others take 140 mm or 160 mm. For liquid cooling, look at the top radiator sizes: some cases stop at 240 mm, and others accept up to 360 mm or 420 mm.
Storage bays. Count the drives you actually have. Our range includes cases with 2 or 4 bays for 3.5 inch hard drives and with 2, 4 or 8 bays for 2.5 inch SSDs, which suits a build that keeps a lot of files locally.
Finish and airflow. The wood is usually a front or trim panel, so check that vents or mesh remain elsewhere for air intake. Finishes in our range include black, brown, beige and natural wood tones.

Wood case FAQ
What is a wood PC case?
A wood PC case is a computer case with wooden or wood-effect panels, most often on the front. The frame inside is normally steel, so the wood mainly changes the look. All the models in our range are mid towers.
Will a high-end graphics card fit in a wood case?
Often it will, but it depends on the model. Some cases in our range accept cards up to 44 cm or 45 cm, while others are limited to around 31.5 cm. Compare the card's length with the case's stated maximum before buying.
Can I use liquid cooling in a wood case?
Yes, in many of them. Several cases in our range support top radiators of 120, 140, 240, 280, 360 or 420 mm, while others stop at 240 mm. Check the radiator sizes supported, and your cooler's thickness, against the case.
Does a wood panel cause overheating?
A wood panel does not cause overheating by itself, because PC components run well below temperatures that harm wood. What matters is airflow. Choose a case with enough fan mounts, vents or mesh areas, and the right fan sizes, so air can pass freely through the case.
