How to choose a Full HD gaming monitor
Screen size. Full HD spreads the same number of pixels over a larger area as the diagonal grows, so a 23.8-inch or 24.5-inch screen looks sharper than a 27-inch one. The 27-inch size is the most common in our range, and some models reach 31.5 inches. Choose 24 to 25 inches for close-up competitive play, and 27 inches if you sit further back.
Refresh rate and response time. A 60 Hz screen redraws the image 60 times a second, while gaming monitors commonly go to 144 Hz and beyond. Your graphics card has to produce the frames to match, so choose a rate you can actually reach. Look for FreeSync or G-Sync compatibility to reduce tearing, and a low response time to limit motion blur.
Panel type. IPS is the most common panel in our range and offers accurate colours with wide viewing angles. Fast IPS and Rapid IPS are quicker variants aimed at fast shooters. VA panels generally give deeper blacks and higher contrast, which suits darker games, although dark transitions can be slower.
Connections. Most models here have one or two HDMI ports, and a few have three. Consoles connect over HDMI, while PC players often need DisplayPort to reach the highest refresh rates, so check the port versions as well as the count.
Stand and mounting. Most monitors in our range support a 100 x 100 mm wall or arm mount, and some use 75 x 75 mm. A stand with height adjustment helps you set the screen at eye level for long sessions.

Yes, Full HD is enough for most gaming, especially on screens of 24 to 27 inches. It needs less graphics power than higher resolutions, so it is easier to hold high frame rates in fast games. Higher resolutions add detail but demand a stronger graphics card.
What refresh rate should I buy?
Choose 144 Hz or higher if you play fast games such as shooters and racing titles. A 60 Hz screen is fine for slower games and general use. The benefit only appears if your PC or console can deliver frame rates close to the monitor's refresh rate.
